Insert and note the thickest feeler gauge that will fit between the rear of the barrel and the front face of the cylinder. Next, insert a wedge between the cylinder and the recoil shield that will push the cylinder fully forward. Measure Measure the gap, take the gauge out and measure again; that is endshake.
