What does an entomogist study?
Entomology is a Greek word, derived from it as "entomos" that is
which is cut in pieces, "that which in turn cut into pieces or
engraved segmented, is a scientific study of insects, a branch of
anthropology, which in turn is a branch of zoology. The definition
of entomology included the study of terrestrial animals in the
arthropod groups of phyla, archanids, myriapods, earthworms, land
snails and slugs.
An Entomologist can identify the type and and gender of an
insect simply by examining it with the naked eye.
