Wind erosion is the act of the winds having one opposing force moving against another. Wind erosion carries fine particles of clay and dust from one area to another.
The area over which a force acts, is proportional to the pressure. When the area is large then, the pressure acted on it is also large, so the force is greater.
People and animals cause erosion simply by moving soil. Animals might cause erosion by over grazing or burrowing, but humans cause much more through construction, farming, and other large displacements.
To spread their weight out over the sand, which helps to prevent them from sinking in to it. Camels are adapted to walk long distances in deserts, hence, they have evolved to form large, broad, flat feet. More surface area means less pressure exerted on that surface, and vice-versa as the pressure is distributed on a large area.
A foodplain is a flat or nearly flat land adjacent a stream or river that stretches from the banks of its channel to the base of the enclosing valley walls and experiences flooding during periods of high discharge.
