MS course in US is generally of two types 1.Thesis 2. Project. Both have the equal standards but the former one is a bit easy. It is similar to the Undergraduation. But here you have credits. A min of 30 credits are required to attain your Graduation degree with in 5 years time limit. Each semester requires a min 3 subjects i.e 9 credits.You are assigned to a senior faculty and used in the thesis work by the faculty. It is the faculty who is solely responsible for your credits. Once you are in good relation with your Prof then you Ms degree is in your hand.
