The excitation voltage is the force transducer's supply voltage; in general a range is specified. It is essential not to exceed the maximum excitation voltage, since otherwise the permissible voltage at the strain gauges will be exceeded.

Will voltage vary with frequency vary?

One factor to consider in the generation of power is that in a generator there is an electromagnetic field moving past wires in which a voltage is induced. If the speed is reduced (speed is propotional to frequency) the voltage will be too, all else being equal. However there may be compensation for this by a rise in exitation current to increase the magnetic field seen by the wires. Other equipment outside the generator can also control the voltage received.

Why a dc shunt generator may fail to self excite?

If there is no residual magnetism in the field poles then there would be no flux too induce the initial voltage for self exitation

What is the difference between voltage forward voltage and voltage drop?

Voltage is the potential difference between the source & any point in the circuit. The forward voltage is the voltage drop across the diode if the voltage at the anode is more positive than the voltage at the cathode (if you connect + to the anode). Voltage drop means, amount of voltage by which voltage across load resistor is less then the source voltage.

What is voltage gain?

Voltage gain is the ratio of the output voltage of an amplifier to its input voltage.

bucking voltage is a voltage which is of opposite polarity to the voltage it acts .

What are voltage stabilizers?

Voltage Stabilizer is also called Automatic Voltage Stabilizer or AC Voltage Stabilizer or Voltage Regulator. Actually an automatic voltage stabilizer is designed to automatically maintain a constant voltage level, with protections of equipment against voltage surges, over voltage, under voltage, smoothing impulsive noise.

What is the difference between a voltage converter and a voltage regulator?

the difference between a voltage converter to a voltage regulator,is that a voltage converter, converts or changing the desired voltage to be used while the voltage regulator, regulates the input of the voltage amount not to excess to its inputs.
