Yes. Fentinal like morphine are both highly addictive drugs. Also because the patch is worn for three days verses one dose the chance of addiction grows substantially. I am not a physician, but am a patient that has been with chronic pain that requires both opiates, Valium, and the fentinal patch. Also my sister is a Nurse Practitioner and has confirmed what I am stating.
