What are some examples of ferminism in some countries?
There is a fine dividing line between feminism and women's rights. No reasonable person would refuse to accept a females right to vote, nor equal pay for equal work. There are, however, some females that show anger when a gentleman offers his seat or holds a door open for them. Such things are not condescension but gallantry and chivalrous deeds, especially to members of the older generation. It was considered good manners and is still so today by many people.Free societies accept that females have all the rights a male enjoys.Strident feminists insist that such things should not be allowed and demand more. This is of course not true of all females. In the 1960s when the contraception pill became freely available and allowed women to take control of their own body a rather voluble group in the west instigated a campaign dubbed 'Burn the 'bra'. Many did so publicly. In the eyes of many this weakened their case.Don't insist on equality in all things, you may get it.But this is just the opinion of a member of the older generation. It has been my experience if a female acts as a lady she will be treated as such. If that is not your wish then simply say so.I am sure members of both sexes will have different opinions.
