What is one effect of fratricide?

Fratricide can mean the killing of one's sister or brother and it can also mean the accidental killing of one's own troops during war. Either way, one effect is the devastation suffered by those closest to the victim and person who committed fratricide.

Which of following is a effect of fratricide?

The question asks about the "following". In such circumstances would it be too much to expect that you make sure that there is something that is following?

How did ancient Egyptians choose their pharaohs?

They did not choose their pharoahs, strictly speaking. Nascent pharoahs mostly indulged in fratricide, and the last one standing became pharoah, broadly speaking. The people had some considerable influence in whether a pharoah remained a pharoah, however.

What are ten facts about Australia's involvement in the Vietnam War?

1. Australian fighter pilots flew US F-4 Phantom jet fighter bombers in the Vietnam War. 2. For the allied side, Australians operated the only NON-US tank in Vietnam, the British built 50 ton Centurion tank. 3. Australia "also" sent conscripted men to fight in Vietnam (NON-volunteers). 4. Royal Australian Navy warships fired over 100,000 rounds of 5" gun fire, while serving on the "GUN LINE." 5. Royal Australian warships, Destroyers sailed approximately 400,000 miles during their combat operations in Vietnam. 6. One Australian destroyer, HMAS Perth was "hit" by a North Vietnamese shore battery. One Australian serviceman was killed. 7. Four Australian warships served on the "Gun Line" in Vietnam: The destroyers; HMAS Brisbane, HMAS Hobart, HMAS Vendetta, and HMAS Perth. 8. The destroyer, HMAS Vendetta, was the ONLY Australian built warship (destroyer) to serve in the Vietnam War. 9. The destroyer HMAS Vendetta fired approximately 13,000 5" shells while serving on the GUN LINE. 10. The Australian Royal Navy lost 8 Officers and men killed in the Vietnam War. Two of which were killed after a US jet aircraft accidently attacked the HMAS Hobart. HMAS Hobart was responding, along with the US cruiser USS Boston, to a US Navy "Swift Boat", that had been attacked and sunk off of the DMZ by possible North Vietnamese attack helicopters. US aircraft responded, with the resulting friendly fire (fratricide).

What are some weird facts about the Vietnam war?

June 1968, (Near midnight hours)-US Navy Patrol Craft Fast #19 (Swift Boat) radioed it was under attack by hovering aircraft near the DMZ (17th Parallel). PCF 19 exchanged .50 caliber machinegun fire with the hovering aircraft during the running gun battle for several minutes, before exploding and disappearing beneath the sea. Swift Boat 12 (PCF-12), the US Cruiser USS Boston and Australian Destroyer HMAS Hobart responded. Five of the Swift Boat 19 crewmen were dead, the commanding officer was wounded. One of the five crewmen's body was never recovered. US Jets responded to the firefight and accidently attacked the USS Boston & HMAS Hobart, killing two Australian Sailors. During the PCF-19 firefight, all US/Allied helicopters reported themselves to be out of the area. To date, other than fratricide, the US Navy will not state the reason(s) for Swift Boat 19's loss. 26 December 1972-North Vietnamese MIG-21 pilot Major Pham Tuan reported shooting down a B-52 Stratofortress Bomber over North Vietnam, using air to air missiles. The shoot down is the only known loss of a B-52 to a MIG Jet Fighter. The US Air Force states that the downed B-52 was lost to a SAM (surface to air missile). On 23 July 1980, Lt. General Tuan became Vietnam's First Cosmonaut, when he and Soviet Cosmonaut Viktor Gorbatko were launched into outer space from the Baikonur Cosmodrome.
