A new Merc runs double oil for the first 10 hrs (25:1)
If it is oil injected (most likely) put 50:1 in the tank and check that the oil
res is actually going down. (injection working). Then just use PULP in the tank
from then on.
If it is not oil injected run 50:1 All Merc/Mariners run 50:1
The 1985 model, 70hp Mercury outboard requires a 50:1 ratio, one pint of 2 cycle oil, to six gallons of fuel.
50:1
Correct mix for a 2000 two stroke model is 50:1. This ratio works out to 1 pint of 2 stroke oil, to 6 gallons fuel. If you have an oil injected model, no oil is required in fuel, just top off oil tank.

The 2 stroke, 25 hp Mercury outboard requires a 50:1 ratio, this is roughly one pint of 2 cycle oil, to six gallons of fuel.
The 1996 model, 9.9 hp Mercury outboard requires a 50:1 ratio, one pint of 2 cycle oil to six gallons of fuel.
We have one on our boat and use 50:1 mix. Seems to be right. I guess we'll find out if it seizes up.
No 4 stroke motors use 91 octain fuel or better. You only mix oil & gas for 2 stroke motors.
50:1
all mercury outboards mix 50:1
Unleaded....mixture is 50:1 with 2cycle oil in 2 a stroke engine. 4 strokes do not require you to mix fuel
No, its a 4 stroke.
