fingers
If a tendon in your finger is cut, it can result in difficulties moving the affected finger and may lead to weakness or loss of function. Surgery may be needed to repair the tendon and restore function to the finger. Physical therapy may also be required to regain strength and mobility in the finger.

The smallest finger on the right hand is called the pinky finger or little finger. It's typically the fourth finger when counting from the thumb. The pinky plays a role in grip and hand function, despite being the smallest digit.

The hypothenar is a group of muscles located on the palm of the hand near the base of the little finger. Its function is to control and stabilize the movements of the little finger and the hand when gripping or manipulating objects. It helps in fine motor movements and maintaining grip strength.
The pinky and ring finger are connected in terms of hand function and movement because they share a common muscle group and tendon system. This means that when one finger moves, the other finger is also likely to move in a similar way. This connection allows for coordinated movements and grip strength in the hand.
The index finger. The middle finger is an equivalent in dexterity and nerve endings. The pinkie and ring finger need the middle finger to function well. I don't suggest loosing any. The hand can handle objects almost as well without the index, but loosing any other finger instead is worse.
