DRL stands for Daytime Running Lamps.
DRL = daytime running lights
The fuse to disable the DRL system is located in the passenger side fuse box near the glove box.
It's the fuse that is in control of the Daytime Running Lights on your vehicle.
DRL.
The DRL is controlled by fuse 13, 10 amp size, located in the fuse block located inside your engine bay. Removing this fuse will deactivate your DRLs. If you get into an accident and file a claim, be sure to reinstall this fuse, as most insurance companies give you a discount for having DRLs but will penalize you if they find out you disabled it.
DRL = Daytime Running Lights, which is essentially your high beam bulbs manipulated to be dimmer.
On a 2008, fuse 13 (10 amp) located inside the fuse box in the engine bay controls your DRL. Removing it should disable your lights.
In case you want to disconnect it you can just pull out the 7.5 daylight fuse under the dash. There is another fuse market 10 that does not need to be pulled.
In the fuse panel on the drivers end of the dash ( the fuse panel cover is visible with the drivers door open ) fuse # 4 is a 10 amp fuse for the left headlight fuse # 8 is a 10 amp fuse for the right headlight and foglamp relay fuse # 33 is a 15 amp fuse for the headlights , daytime running lights (DRL) Module , and instrument cluster
