well right now spencer,hanna,aria,and emily are being tortured by a creepy stalker named "A". In 7th grade at ridgfield school (aria,spencer,hanna,and emilys school) Alison (one of their friends) got murdered. The girls are now trying to find the killer, but they have lied a lot so "A" is trying to make their lives horrible.
