'Hi-pot' is short for 'high potential'. So, a 'hi-pot' test is a 'high-potential' test, and is used to test the insulation resistance of electricity-supply equipment, such as underground cables, etc. It does this by subjecting the insulation to a continuous (d.c.) over-voltage for a given period of time. The magnitude of the test voltage, and the duration of the test, is laid down by the standards that apply to the electrical components being tested.
its either
1. Makes you high
2. it is high
3. It is tall
4. its a pot
5. its pot
i think 100000 ohms
The lo and hi pots are the same amount of chips. Both players will tie for the lo and spilt the lo pot, and the player who has lo and hi with win the hi pot. So basically the player with the lo and hi hand will win 3/4 of the pot.
Depending on the equipment required for the substation, some of the tests are as follows: meggering,hi-pot testing, continuity checks,c.t. testing, relay testing, ngr testing, capacitance bridge test's on transformers.
Hi Ujwala, nice to meet you!
...is a felony. Testing positive for pot is a misdemeanor. Do the math, genius.
2500 volts
'High-pot' is short for 'high potential', and it is also the trade name of a high-voltage test set used for testing the integrity of the insulation of high-voltage cables and other equipment prior to putting them into service, or following maintenance.
no. The chemical compound in pot that is tested for is THC and its metabolites, while the chemical compounds tested for with adderall are amphetamines and their metabolites. COMPLETELY different drugs.
with a voltage source and a current meter and log log paper. (hi-pot tester) plot the voltage vs the current when the line starts to bend or knee you are close to the failure voltage
Don't use pot.
you run the voltage up to 2x the operating voltage + 1000v this detects exposure to moisture and pinholes in insulation if it cant pass a hi-pot test chances are it wont pass signals reliably either
You can, and you will get a reading if the leakage is within the operating parameters of the megger or there is a dead short in the windings. Most larger voltage motors need higher testing voltages. A hi-pot tester will deliver these higher voltages.
