"The Ship of Destiny" is a fantasy novel written by Robin Hobb. It is the third book in the Liveship Traders Trilogy, which follows the lives of several characters as they become intertwined with the fate of a sentient ship called Vivacia.
The Fool is androgynous. The Fool claims not to be a woman when Fitz questions him but then lives as a woman in the Liveship Traders series.
As of now, Robin Hobb has not announced any plans for additional books in the Fitz and Fool trilogy or the Realm of the Elderlings series. However, she continues to write and publish new works, so there is a possibility of more books in the future.

Hobb's Choice is a shortened form of the original Hobson's Choice. Thomas Hobson was a livery stable owner in Cambridge, England. (dates 1544-1631) He offered customers the choice of either taking the horse in the stall nearest the door or taking none at all in order to make sure his best horses did not get overused. So take it or leave it was the choice.
