Your guess to what you think what will happen. The above answer is for a "HYPOTHESIS", however the true question here is an anatomy question of "What is the Hypophesis?". To begin "hypophesis" is actually spelled "hypophysis". The hypophysis is AKA the pituitary gland. Some people also mistakingly use the word hypophysis to describe premature portions of bone in relation to the "physis" (aka:growth plate), inwhich there is no such thing in relation to the bones.

A "hypothesis" is a key component or step of the scientific method. The scientific method is based on the idea of using experimentation to derive factual and reproducible knowledge about the world. In order to avoid drawing erroneous conclusions from experimental data, scientists focus the experiments around very specific questions or expectations--that is, around hypotheses. Coming from the ancient Greek word for 'foundation', a hypothesis is an explanation for why things are the way the way they are that is tested within the scientific method.

If you meant hypothesis, then it is a proposal intended to explain facts or observations. Data from an experiment will either prove or disprove this hypothesis.
