The error message is caused by a file associated with vcast. If you go under task manager and close a process called memonitor.exe you will not receive the error message. I tried three times to download an album and finally came across a post on the web telling me what to do. The apple support team did not know the answer. They did however repost the album so I could resume the download and it worked.

iTunes could not connect to the iTunes Store. Maybe your Internet is off. Maybe you have a firewall that is not letting iTunes connect. Norton is vary difficult to set up for iTunes.
