It's not really a secret path, but a maze. It took me a long time to do it myself, but you can't really do anything (like capture) the Unicorn. When you get to where the house is (after you've completed the maze), go left and use the magnifying glass when you get to a dead tree. You will go to the other side. Search around (it should be in the middle). you can also do the maze at flower isle and talk to the man in the middle. he has a quest that has to do with the unicorn.
