The development of industry on an extensive scale
Industrialized may mean something of a land or property being used for industrial use or other commercial / industrial purposes.
It became less of an agricultural nation.
Small islands in Micronesia have been historically used by industrialized countries for military purposes due to their strategic location in the Pacific Ocean. Additionally, they have also been targets for resource extraction, such as fishing and mining, leading to environmental concerns and exploitation of local communities.
There were many strenghts because we had a massave empire and the best Navy of the time with ports all over the world. Also, we had an amazing government and we were very industrilized. Although we had a small army, this did not matter because knowone could even get to our land as our Navy could easaly protect our shores. We had no mager weaknesses during world war 1 or 2. The above is essentially true.... Now about this amazing government ? Yes the Army was relatively small, but it was professional. However the conscriopted men needed by 1916 on the Western Front died as quickly as any, it is sad to say. Now about these major weaknesses we never had, I too am British, submarine warfare in both world wars, particularly WW2 affected Britain dramatically. I'm not suggesting that Britain was near to starvation, but to see an orange or banana was rare indeed in those days. There was a very real perception of the possibility, the possibility, of invasion of Britain in 1940. Yes, Britain was secured by the Royal Navy in WW1, Jutland was the only attempt to challenge the High Seas Fleet, and Britain was secure in the support of the natons of the Empire. As for the weaknesses, well bankruptcy was a real threat, could Britain have run out of money ? The losses of thousands of men on the Western front & elsewhere was a serious threat. I just wanted to adjust the first answer. I hope that's ok.
USA took idea's from the industrial revolution in europe(mainly england) which started by these -· The First Industrial Revolution, which began in the 18th century, merged into the Second Industrial Revolution around 1850.· Great Britain provided the legal and cultural foundations that enabled entrepreneurs to pioneer the Industrial Revolution.· Starting in the latter part of the 18th century, there began a transition in parts of Great Britain's previously manual labor and draft-animal-based economy towards machine-based manufacturing.· The introduction of steam power fuelled primarily by coal, wider utilization of water wheels, and powered machinery-mainly in textile manufacturing-underpinned the dramatic increases in production capacity.· The effects spread throughout Western Europe and North America during the 19th century, eventually affecting most of the world, a process that continues as industrialization today.USA, Today is one of the most industrilized countries in the world. South Korea, Japan and few more exceed USA.
