Its kind of hard to explain.........

Its the way to carry on the pack, to make more little werewolves.

You'd be anything, do anything for that person.

Its not the earth holding you here anymore its her, she holds you to her like a million steel cables, it hurts to spend time away from each other.

You protect her, love her unconditionally, you're there for her when nobody else is.

you are forever a part of each others lives, you can't live without them

and the moment that you're imprinting, their life sort of flashes before your eyes and a warm light fills you, and suddenly its like a million steel cables are holding you to her, everything else in your life is suddenly much less important than them.

In Jacob's point of view he says that when you imprint you don't belong to yourself anymore, and the worst part is you genes tell you you're happy about it.

In Leah's point of view it is good if you are in love with someone you can never had "Just to break the connection"

Imprinting is like a VERY intense version of love at first sight that only werewolf's can experience.

you should read the books for a better explanation.

Imprinting is a form of learning in which a young animal recognizes and forms attachments to its caregiver during a critical period in early life. This process is particularly important in the development of social behavior and can have lasting effects on an animal's future interactions and relationships.

What did edward in twilight breaking dawn prt1 about jacub inprinting?

He didn't do anything yet. They'll bring out more about that in Breaking Dawn Part 2.

How is imprinting done?

Inprinting is not "done" it just happens. If a werewolf sees a certain person, he may inprint on her, which is the feeling of a connection and destiny. Once a werewolf has imprinted upon somebody, he is drawn to her and will never be able to stay away from her. It is impossible not for them to be together. Pretty Romantic, eh?

What does imprinting people mean from twilight?

It's basically a rendition of "Love At First Sight" where, in Breaking Dawns case, Jacob sees the girl he wants to spend his life with. It doesn't necessarily mean in a sexual way. It could mean in a older brother way, fatherly way, best friend way, ect. Whichever way the person the werewolf imprinted on wants in the werewolf, he will be. (Ex. a werewolf imprinted on you, but you don't want him as a partner, so he would be your friend, or brotherly figure.)
