I think you mean 'insulation resistance'. This is exactly what it says it is, it is the resistance between opposite sides of an insulator or dielectric. It is in the order of megohms and, in the case of a cable, is inversely proportional to its length -i.e. the longer the cable, the lower its insulation resistance.
Resistance is resistance , no matter if it is contact resistance or any other resistance. And formula is R = V / I.
On Circuit Resistance = Close to the total load Resistance. Off Circuit Resistance = Near Infinitive High Resistance.
Hot resistance is your total resistance you can have with out exceeding your wattage limit
Population resistance is also known as pesticide resistance. Pesticide resistance describes a pest population's increasing resistance to a pesticide that use to be effective in terminating said pests.

insolation resistance test
Direct and diffused insolation.
Insolation is a measurement of the solar radiation received by a surface over a unit time. Polar regions have the lowest insolation.
The duration of insolation on March 21 is 12 hours daylight. The duration of insolation is dependent on temperature, season and latitude.

Solar panels that convert sunlight to electrical energy are an application of insolation.

It is the time delay between a maximum or minimum insolation and maximum or minimum air temperature

The angle of insolation affects the intensity of insolation directly. In other words, as the angle of insolation increases, so does the intensity of insolation because the Sun is directly overhead at Zenith, giving off direct, or vertical rays. The opposite happens when the angle of insolation decreases, causing a decrease in the intensity of insolation as well.
