Caution: An airless paint sprayer (mid to commercial grade) can inject large amounts of paint into your body if the spray is directed at the skin. Especially the arms and hands. This can result in serious injury including amputation and death if not immediately treated.Preparing the Surface:As with all painting, the surface to be painted should be thoroughly cleaned and dried. Any grime, mold or dirt will eventually come through the paint and leave the surface unseemly. Pressure washers can be implored for outdoor use. Preparing the Area:No matter how good you are at using a paint sprayer, there will be over spray. Over spray can get paint on other objects that were not meant to receive paint.Cover all plants and flooring with a drop clothCover windows with paper and tapePut tape on edges, such as trim, to prevent paint over spray (once you have mastered the use of the shield, you will not need to cover and tape everything)Preparing the SprayerTo get paint into the sprayer, put the inlet hose into a bucket of paint and turn on the sprayer. While the pump is on, pull the trigger on the gun until paint starts exiting the gun. There may be a specific sprayer function for priming the gun, like in the Graco XR7. Follow the manufacturer's instructions for priming or you could ruin your pump.Using the Paint SprayerPut on protective gear:Eye wear to protect eyes from over sprayGloves to prevent paint and over spray from staining hands, can also reduce the risk of accidental injection of paint through skinStart at the top left corner of the wall. In one hand, take the paint shield and place it against the closest wall or trim that will not be painted. With the other hand, point the paint sprayer gun at the wall in an upright 90 degree angle. Start moving the gun left to right and squeeze the trigger.Spray the paint on evenly by making a back and forth, left to right, right to left motion. If the paint begins to run, the paint is either to thin or you are spraying too much paint. Move the gun slightly faster to see if that reduces runs. You can also turn down the pressure of the paint gun.Clogged Paint Sprayer GunIf the paint gun becomes clogged, usually the tip can be reversed and automatically cleaned. To do this, simply turn the tip in reverse, point the gun away from your person and pull the trigger. The paint pressure will shoot any clogs out of the tip. If the tip still does not become usable, remove the tip and pour mineral spirits on both the entrance and exit spray holes. Take a wire brush and clean the paint off.AnswerGM929-Airless Paint Sprayer Description[1]1 2 3 4 5 1. Safety precautions2. Preparation3. Preparation before spraying4.Spraying instructions5. As the airless paint sprayer is a high-pressure power tool, any inattention or improper operation, maintenance on your unit may result in equipment damage or severe personal injury. So before using your sprayer, make sure you read, fully understand, and will follow all the safety and operating instruc-tions given in this manual.2. Make sure the work area is in order, with no clutters, having sufficient visibility and be well ventila-ted.3. Make sure the sprayer and paint bucket is placed securely when working. Make sure all cords, extensions, and hoses are free from sharp objects.4. Always keep firm footing and balance when operating your sprayer. Take special care especially when you are working at heights (on scaffolding for example).5. Make sure the power source is securely grounded and match the motor rating of your sprayer. If an extension cord is needed, use one that is heavy enough, as an undersized cord will cause greater drop in line voltage causing loss of power and overheating.6. Before connecting your sprayer to power source, check hoses for cuts, leaks, abrasion or damage or movement of couplings, check all valves, controls and indicators to make sure they function proper-ly.7. Make sure the hydraulic oil in the pump is clean and sufficient in volume. Starting the sprayer with-out sufficient hydraulic oil is not permitted.8. To prevent earlier wear of the sprayer and even equipment failure, make sure paints and solvents to be used with the sprayer are clean and free from impurities.9. Watch for spraying pressure indicated in the pressure gauge, make sure it does not exceed 22.5-MPa. Make sure using the high pressure hose from supplier.10. Never aim the gun at any part of the body. Never allow any part of the body to come in contact with the fluid stream.11. Do not use this sprayer to spray any corrosive, or poisonous solvents (acids, banana oil, pestici-des, fertilizers etc.)12. Keep the sprayer free of ignition sources. Do not eat or smoke when operating.13. After each use, relieve pressure in the system before turning off the motor. Then clean the syste-m (all the parts paint having flowed through) with water or other appropriate solvents.14. Do not transport the sprayer with power on. Disconnect power source before cleaning or doing any maintenance. Do not have the motor and the plug come in contact with water, paints or solvents.15. Do not modify the sprayer in any way without approval. Use only original or authorized parts for replacement.Ⅱ. Preparation1. Attach the pressure gauge. (Fig.1)Fig. 12. Put the high pressure hose on the outlet valve, and input hose to the inlet valve, tighten them, then open the prime/spray valve.(fig2)Fig.2Copyright © 2005-2008 JeJar.Cn All Rights Reserved.Zhejiang Yongkang JeJar Spraying Equipment Factory浙ICP备05001021号Technical support: DotEb.Com1. In a few seconds, water will begin to flow up through the tube and flow out from outlet valve, close the outlet valve, check if there is any leakage on the outlet hose, if it doesn't leak, open the spraying gun and have a testing spray. (Fig.3)Fig. 3Ⅳ.Spraying instructions1.During paint spraying, hold the gun upright to the surface of paint-object and keep a constant spraying distance of 350~400mm.(Fig.4)2.Move gun before starting the trigger. Equably move gun when spraying. At last, loosen the trigger and stop moving immediately. Adjust moving speed according to thickness of paint, spray pressure and the distance of gun to object.3.In order to get an intact and slick surface, spray from level and vertical respectively . Spraying time will be variable with different paints. Spray for second time when the first painting is dry .Begin spraying on well spray stop spraying(Fig.4)4.During your spraying if you need to stop for several minutes, loosen the pressure valve and revolve prime valve in counter-clockwise, then shut the motor. Put spraying tip into solution in case of paint block-up in the spraying tip. When spraying tip is block-up, revolve it 180 degree for several times, then move back in position of well-spraying.1. Discharge hose connector and hook plate, screw out gun handle, take out filter pistil and clean it, then fix them back. Change a new filter pistil when it is damaged. Wash the machine with relevant solvents for different paints.Fig.63) During spraying, check and clean suction-filter in time when paint blocks up. Usually clean it once after each use.4) To check timely if fixed parts are loosened and sealed parts have any leakage.5) Usually after three months' usage of the machine, open pump cover and check if hydraulic oil is clean and enough. Add hydraulic oil when it's in short; change hydraulic oil if it isn't clean. Clean oil-case of pump with diesel oil before changing hydraulic oil, and then add hydraulic oil to 85% of oil-case capacity.6) If you use this machine the second day, It is not necessary to clean it, dip the suction hose and tip into paint. For long storage, discharge the liquid in the machine, pack it well, store in dry and well-ventilated place, and don't be pressed by any articles.GM929-Airless Paint Sprayer Description[4]1 2 3 4 5 1. If inlet valve is sticky, refer to fig.1. Push the dustpr-oof plug inside the inlet valve. To fill water into inlet valve and check whether it's leaky. If it's leaky, contact supplier to change it.Fig.72)Check whether the diaphragm is damaged. If it is damaged, oil goes out from outlet hose when it absorbs liquid, in additional, check if there is any hydraulic oil in the pump.Put this machine backward, loosen four fixed bolts on valve assembly, remove them and take out diaphragm to change. It's necessary to discharge air after changing diaphragm. Please follow these steps: Unscrew copper nut of pressure valve, turn on the motor repeatedly till air is out. To check if the air is released, tighten copper nut of pressure valve, remove inlet valve and extend finger into the center hole of inlet valve, gently touch the diaphragm, if you can feel it's vibrating, it means there is no air inside Otherwise, repeat the above.Fig.8Ⅷ.Other trouble shootings1.If the prime valve is leaky, circumfluence accrues in outlet hose when the valve is closed.1). Open and close spray valve in times to check whether inner parts of spray valve are locked.2).Discharge spray valve to check whether it is damaged. Take out gasket to inspect if the surface of it and hole bottom of spray valve are smooth. Change gasket if it isn't good. Contact supplier to maintain if hole bottom of spray vale isn't good.
