The situation of the ancient mariner who has to suffer throughout his life with a sense of guilt is justified. it does justice to the albatross whom he killed on impulse as well as to the other mariners who lost their lives as a result of suffering caused by the ancient mariner. It teaches us to respect nature & the creatures that live in it.
