Excel is the most versatile of all the applications. There is so much you can do with it. It is mainly for working with numbers, but you can do a lot more with it too. It can be very useful for big businesses, but also the ordinary person who wants to do some simple calculations on it. You can do interesting things with dates, like showing what day of the week you were born on by using functions like WEEKDAY or formatting dates to show a day. You can do special things with conditional formatting, to change the formatting of cells allowing you to highlight cells. There is so much more it can do. You would need somebody who knows a lot about it to teach you to do the interesting things with it.
