AnswerWhen a solid gains enough thermal energy, it will melt and become a liquid. When it has gained more thermal energy, it will evaporate or boil and become a gas. These are changes of state, and they are physical changes, and not chemical ones.

When a solid has turned into a liquid it is called a phase change. The temperature at which the substance goes from a solid to a liquid (eg for water it is 32 degreees Fahrenheit) is called the melting point

When a gas changes state to become a liquid, it is said to condense. It's a physical change. When a liquid becomes a solid, it will freeze. Lastly if a gas changes state directly to a solid, we call this deposition.

Turning a solid to a gas is sublimation. You cannot go directly from a gas to a solid. First you have to condense the gas and then freeze it. Sure you can - at the triple point

The answer is melting point

When you put something in a hot area it melts

sorry is not scientific enough

What is desublimation?

Desublimation refers to the process in which abstract or intellectual ideas are made more concrete or tangible. It involves bringing concepts down to a more practical or physical level.

What is the process called when gas turn to solid directly?

The process is called deposition, where gas transforms directly into a solid without going through the liquid phase. This occurs when the temperature of the gas is lowered below its sublimation point, causing the particles to lose enough energy to form a solid state.
