A Covalent Bond
A Covalent Bond
Valence bond.
A covalent bond.
Ion
a covalent bond is when two atoms share a pair of electrons
The two atoms share their electrons.
When atoms share two electrons it is called a covalent bond. A covalent bond consists of two types of bond a polar covalent bond and a non polar covalent bond.
Two atoms that share a pair of electrons unequally are called polar covalent bonded atoms. This results in a partial positive charge on one atom and a partial negative charge on the other due to differences in electronegativity.
