I am not exactly sure what 'MAB' or 'KAB' mean, but I would expect they mean something to the effect of 'Megabites' and 'Kilobites' in which case the 768KAB would convert to 76.8MAB which is significantly more.
First, it's never a good idea to expect that words will match their original meanings exactly. A thing called "semantic drift" shows that meanings shift over time. "Nice" once meant "precise" "trivial" "lewd, dirty" and "simple, stupid" but over time all those meanings have shifted into what we have today. Second, if you expect something, you are "looking out" for it to come, so there's that.
