Rain
Precipitation
Water in some form that falls from the sky is called "Precipitation". (pree-sip-uh-TAY-shun)
The liquid that falls from the sky when it rains is called rainwater. It is a natural form of precipitation that occurs when water vapor in the air condenses and falls back down to the ground.
Rain drops, so many rain drops...seems lika rain drops...falling in my eyes.
Precipitation
If water falls from the cloud in the form of liquid, it is called rain. If it falls in the form of snow, it is called snow fall. At times rounded ice blocks fall from clouds then it is called hailstorm.
Rain: The condensed water vapor that first evaporated from the earths surface (see water cycle)

Precipitation
rain is when wet falls from the sky and in England it tends to rain a awful lot!
It is called hail
Rain, snow, sleet, and hail are common types of matter that can fall from the sky. These forms of precipitation occur when water vapor in the atmosphere condenses or freezes and falls to the ground due to gravity.
