When you freeze a cell, water crystals form inside the cell causing it to expand which causes it to burst. The only way to freeze a cell without ice crystals forming is to freeze them at absolute zero (-273C or -459F). However when freezing something as large as a human body, the deepest cells cannot be reached easily and will freeze at a lower temperature to the outside of the body, again causing ice crystals. This means that the people would never be able to be brought back to life as their internal cells are destroyed. However this is now and in the future more developments could make this possible.
