Like most modern cars a Subaru Forester (note spelling) DOES employ a transmission in its normal functioning.
Subaru spoilers should be available at most Subaru dealerships. Auto accessory stores like "Elite Spoiler" will also have them. Always check on eBay and Amazon.
Usually take the car to the nearest Subaru dealer and have then fix it. They invented it, they should fix it.
