normally jews were allowed to put anything thier heart desired into their suitcase whether it be a picture of their family, food, or a blanket that has beenw ith their family for a long time. But, when they arrived at the concentration camp their suitcase was taken from them and burned, so no matter what they packed, they were not allowed to keep it :(
