I had the same thing with my 1995 z24 2.3. When the car was cold it made the grinding noise and i changed the trans oil with ams oil trans oil and its smooth as silk know. Make sure you use manual trans oil
no,if it is normal functional sound.if it is grinding or making some other kind of noise then there is definitely an issue.
if u put wider aftermarket tires on then the tires are rubbing on the fender wheel well if you are refering to in/at the actual steering wheel, then some grinding noise is normal. it's possible the electrical contacts for airbag/cruise/radio controls, whatever you have on the steering wheel are making some grinding noise.
