ivory tusks are the tusks found on animals like elephants, hippos and mammoths.

The animals are hunted for their ivory tusks and they are then used as okimono, netsukes, jewelry, flatware handles and furniture inlays. They are must commonly used for piano keys but the ancient Romans and Greeks used to carve them.
