Best Answer

A liner load an electical decive that is characterized by a uniform rise and drop in current and volatage when connected in circuit. For example steady pattern can be observe when the decive is operating in a circuit.

A linear load is a load that does not "turn on" or saturate due to voltage. Diodes and transistors are non-linear loads. Ideal resistors, capacitors, and inductors are linear.

What are the biasing roles of transistor?

A: Transistor to be effective as an linear amplifier it must be operated in its linear load range. The biasing scheme is to insure that the transistor is put in its linear/load range

What does a load do to the flow of electrical current in a series circuit?

A load increases the flow of electrical current in a series circuit. No load, no flow.

What is a nonlinear electrical load?

It must mean a load that is not constant, or does not follow a straight line relation with some other parameter. For example air resistance- the drag on a vehicle increases as the square of the speed, so the load on the motor increases at a similar rate ( or at least that part of the motor load used to overcome air resistance)

Can you run electrical wire's in load bearing wall?

Yes, you can run electrical wires in a load bearing wall.

What other forms of energy can electrical energy be converted into by a load?

Anything device can transform electrical energy into other form of energy. This is called an electrical load.

What is the significance of dc load line in a transistor?

A load line is used in graphic analysis of circuits, having both linear and non-linear parts, representing the constraint the other parts of the circuit put on the non-linear transistor. It represents the response of the linear circuit connected to the transistor. The DC load line describes the DC operation of a transistor graphically.

Is a switch a load?

No it is not considered a load. A load transforms electrical energy into other types of energy :)

What is a electrical load?

a nonlinear electrical load, like a battery charger or water heater when present in a power system produces harmonics or rather distortions which leads to improper proportionality of voltage to current. so that's an electrical load

Is a switch considered a load?

No it is not considered a load. A load transforms electrical energy into other types of energy :)

What is the load in a torch?

The load in a torch is tehb thin tungsten wire in the bottom of the torch. It converts electrical energy into light energy.
