There is no detox period because there is no way to test for those cannaboids. I'm in the military, and have smoked spice multiple times the night before two or three different drug test. i don't see why not, unless is a flammable chemical...then I would suggest not you. I had a friend that found the main component in K2 in a liquid form at a vitamin shop. They put a few drops on the k2 in the pipe, and claim it really intensified the effect.

No. There are no illegal remants of spice. And when there was they take it out. Spice shows up on no test. You can always ask what they test for spice isnt one cause spice isnt illegal.
