Do Buddhists worship gods?
They do not pray to Buddah, but they do admire him. The goal of
Buddhism is to live your life with no reliability to anyone or
anything. Once you finally reach this state where you are attached
to nothing and no person, then you are able o reach Zen. This is
why they are only allowed 4 things, a needle, alms bowl, razor, and
a water strainer (discluding their robe).
So the answer is no. They want to become like Buddah, in the
sense that they want to disattach themselves from anyone and
anything, but they do not pray to Buddah.
