Fifthly, you should have a support group back home that wants to see you succeed there. Your parents are the best and you will find that joining the marines is much easier if they support you. Marines is no place to go to "run away from something". and last, find all you can about the marines before you sign up. talk to recruiters, talk to ex marines in your family or neighborhood. go on line and read everything you can. be knowledgeable and you will be better able to answer your own question.
