The 1100 designation for a Remington shotgun is the model number. Remington makes the 1100 model in a trap version and a field version.
Doesn't mean anything other then it's a model 1100.The serial won't help you unless you call Remington but It's date stamped on the barrel. Check the Remington Society of America's manufactured date link for details.
There is no 1300 you mean a 1100? Especially for modern and still produced look for LIKE CONDITION sales on gunbroker.com, gunsamerica.com, or gunsinternational.com. Without a very good description of condition evaluation isn't possible.

$20.00 to $300.00. I don't mean to sound sarcastic, but condition is everything.
Have never seen that on any of my 1100's- I am a Freemason, and would have noticed that. By Freemason emblem, I am assuming you mean the square and compass marking- it could have been added after purchase by a Mason, or as a gift to a Mason. There are some unusual factory markings on Remington guns (including an anchor!) but have not seen square and compass.
What do you mean replace Remington? There is no replacement for Remington,in my eyes Remington is a very good gun.
