∙ 12y agoDNA's structure is a double helix, so there are two sides. One side runs in one direction 3' to 5' and the other side runs in the opposite direction 5' to 3'. A good way to think about it is how a highway runs, on one side the cars are going in one direction and on the other side the cars are driving in the opposite direction.
