Concave
An image is erect if it is the same way up as the object. If they are upside down when compared to each other, the image is said to be "inverted".
They said vampires didn't have a soul, so since it was also thought that when you look in a mirror you saw your soul.
REGULAR REFLECTIONWhen a beam of light parallel to the principal axis becomes incident the reflected rays will also parallel.IRREGULAR REFLECTIONWhen a beam of light parallel to the principal axis becomes incident on a rough surface then the reflected rays will scatter in different directions.by farida rehman thanks for watching.Comment: Unfortunately, that's not an answer to thisquestion. The answer is: The image of an object in a (flat) mirror is said to have lateral (meaning "sideways") inversion. That means the image appears to be reversed "sideways". Actually it's reversed in the direction perpendicular to the mirror surface. However, we find it easier, in many cases, to ignore a "front to back" reversal and "see" instead a lateral reversal.
Ectoplasm
Symetrical
The shape is said to have lateral symmetry.
A real time illusion transmitter for transmitting three dimensional illusions of an object comprising a first parabolic mirror for producing a real image of an illuminated object, image detection means disposed in a position to receive said real image and adapted to generate video signals for transmission by cable or electromagnetic means, a second parabolic mirror located at a remote site and having associated therewith an image projector for producing an image from signals transmitted from said first parabolic mirror; said image projector projecting an image normal to the principle axis of the parabolic mirror to produce an illusion of the image when reflected from the parabolic mirror. A mirror image of an object is said to have a line of symmetry
It is said that seven years' bad luck will result from breaking a mirror.
Cheshire cat in Alice in Wonderland. No, actually Horton in Horton Hatches an Egg. "I meant what I said and I said what I meant; an elephant's faithful one hundred per cent."
it is because a mirror has a smooth surface.
snow white
Horton says: "I meant what I said and I said what I meant... an elephant's faithful-one hundred percent" in the Dr. Suess classic Horton Hatches the Egg.
A CONCAVE mirror is a mirror with a reflecting surface that curves inward.
To break a mirror will give you seven years bad luck. Some people once believed if harm befell the image in a mirror it would also harm the person. Magically mirrors are said to reflect or re-direct negativity. Brides should not look at their own reflection in a mirror when trying on their wedding outfit (specifically if wearing the veil) as it will endanger the happiness of the marriage. Vampires are said not to throw a reflection in a mirror - no soul, no reflection. Mirror are covered in the house where there has been a death, so the soul is not trapped within, instead of going on to the next world.
Yes, A shiny metal plate is also said to be a mirror because reflection occurs when light rays strike a shiny surface or a mirror. By: Aisha Ijaz
