CEL light means there is an issue the computer has detected. Could be little, could be large. You can get it scanned for free at most auto parts stores for engine codes to tell you what it is. Advance Auto does this free. You can also unhook the pos and neg battery cables for 5-10 minutes to clear any engine codes. This will reset the system. The traction control off light is part of the ABS system. This is also saying there has been a fault detected in the ABS. Most commonly when there is a traction control off issue, there might be a bad front wheel speed sensor or wheel hub assembly (some have the ABS sensor combined into it). In my experience, this light has come on in conjunction with the ABS light and turned out to be the hub assembly and ABS wheel speed sensor for one of the front wheels.
