Metamorphosis - is the process of changing from one form to another. A typical example would be a caterpillar turning into a moth.

The Metamorphosis is a novella by Franz Kafka. The story begins with a traveling salesman, Gregor Samsa, waking to find himself transformed into a monstrous insect-like creature.
