one metaphor is " the puppy was the color of chocolate "
Happiness is a warm puppy.
The active child was a puppy in my eyes, for he never tired of playing.
In simile, you use the words like, as. For example: "She is cute as a puppy."In metaphor, it does not use the words like, as.For example: "He is a pig."So to transform a simile to a metaphor, you should not use the words, like, as in the sentence. For example:Simile- I eat like a pig.Metaphor - I am a pig.Hope this helps.
Its a metaphor
it is neither, it is personification
metaphor
Implied metaphor is when it gives you the metaphor but doesn't tell what the subject is. A regular metaphor tells you the subject of it.
A puppy that has been struck by lightening because she was holding a flute to the skies and chases a mouse that looks like Hitler off a cliff into a huge pot of chicken noodle soup and drowns in tomato bisk. The puppy is then sent to the underworld where she gets a spikey collar and renamed "Spicey" and parties like its 1969! :D
