Made in 1987. Value could be from 500-multiple thousands. You don't describe what grade, if it was made and assembled in Belgium, made in Belgium and assembled in Portugal, describe the condition, accessories, box, papers, etc..
Your browning model BAR which was made in 1985 should say either made in belguim on the barrel,or made in belguim assembled in portugal on the barrel.
Model 06 serial number 786735 was assembled as a parts clean rifle sometime in the latter 1930s.
Value is too difficult to be accurate without seeing the gun. Condition which includes the amount of original finish and original configuration will determine value. Recommend taking it to a gun shop for appraisal.
The serial numbers assigned to Saginaw Gear(Saginaw) were 2 groups.Your group was serial numbers 3,250,020-3,691,519.These numbers were used for M-1 Carbines assembled from May-1943,thru Feb-1944.with that said I would conclude that your M-1 carbine was assembled in the year 1943. Browning.com has a sn function under customer service. It will be marked where it was assembled on the slide.
The parts were manufactured by FEG in Hungary, and assembled by either Dan Wesson, or Magnum Research. If the serial number starts with a HP than it was assembled by Dan Wesson. Only 500 were produced, and than they switched over to Magnum Research. So- Parts are from Hungary, and it's assembled in the U.S.
i think this isn't the site you should post this question on. you should go to a gun specialist.With the description that you have provided,and the serial number,it sounds as if you have a Browning BAR(semi auto) 30-06 that was made in the year 1988(letters PP in the serial number).these fine made rifles will bring between 375-550 dollars depending on the amount of overall finish remaining on the wood and metal,and a good bore.

If the gun never had a serial number, it could be what was known as a "tool box" gun. These guns used a frame which hadn't been stamped with a serial number and was assembled by a worker at the plant which manufactured the gun and smuggled out in his tool box.
