Information Technology mainly deals with hardware and technical issues. People who are specialized in IT tend to look at the physical side of technology. For this reason, we usually see IT specialists holding positions in tech support or something along those lines. IT people normally have a fair background of programming, too, but it isn't of central interest to them.
Computer Science, on the other hand, is a very vast field. It is not to be confused with Information Technology. This is because CS is rooted in logic and mathematics. As a result, Computer Science leans itself to the non-physical side of technology; that is, software. Software is purely programming, which in turn is logic, mathematics, and problem-solving combined. As a result, Computer Science may be consulted in an awesome variety of fields, because it deals with data structures, organization, and managing data as a whole. In addition, it has a number of branches, such as Artificial intelligence, Software Engineering, and Computer Networks.
In the end, there is no"better" here. It's simply a matter of what appeals to you and your preference. It's in no way a question of which is better. The word "better" loses its meaning when it comes to things like this.
Computer Science Engineering and Information technology are same in all aspects except electronics. The study of electronics is more detailed in Information technology. Hence for computer science engineering you need good maths however for information technology you need both good maths and physics.
I am in 'Computer Information Technology' at Purdue which is somewhat similar to Computer Science. 'Computer Science', as I have heard, is a very difficult major at Purdue. There are many students, including some of my friends, who have switched from Computer Science to Computer Information Technology because they weren't able to handle it. But if you think that you can work hard and you can pull off, then there's a very good scope in Computer Science and especially from Purdue. They have a very good Computer Science program with almost full placements. I would say go for it and pursue Computer Science; you can always switch to Computer Information Technology or some other major if you find it very difficult in later stages.
You should go for B.Tech in either Computer Science or Information Technology. B.Tech from a good reputed college would help you to get a good career in software. As a software developer, Computer Science would be a better option than Information Technology.
Its all can be depends on your capabilities on analytical skills, logical thinking and creativity. If you are really good enough in logical thinking, no doubt the Computer Science is the very good option for you. Similarly if you have good analytical thinking Information Technology is the best one to choose. Go ahead with your abilities to choose which one is the best to you. All the best Thanks, Venkata Arikati
They are used interchangeably by many organizations, mainly because most assume they are the same. There is only one true difference. Computer Science would deal more with processes while Information Technology with delivering information. See below...Computer Sciencethe branch of engineering science that studies (with the aid of computers) computable processes and structuresInformation Technologythe branch of engineering that deals with the use of computers and telecommunications to retrieve and store and transmit information
not so good...
The website Exploringcs.com offers some very good and detailed information for students interested in a further education in computer science. From AP computer science exam statistics to computer science job statistics, you can find all that information on their website.
Information technology is a very broad term which covers areas like computer software and computer programing. Without more information its hard to narrow it down. A good place to start could be Wikipedia.
software engineering comes under the category of computer science or information technology. To become one either you need to to btech in IT or CSE OR MCA OR diploma from a good institute .
For technology,Science = As a working principle.Designs = For good scope of market.
Science and technology increase the Sociology......
it is not better it is no so good at all ........ yet some of it can be helpful but u will never know intill u try but why i said no is because people can put any thing on the internet so just be careful
