Matter is "compacted energy" and burns. Different types of matter have different ignition points at which they catch fire and burn, whether it's paper or rock.

Energy is "power" and power is "spirit." So, matter is "solidified spirit."

All those things which occupy space and have a mass are matter, matter composed of tiny particles known as Atoms. atoms is the combination of protons, neutrons and electrons (only hydrogen is without neutrons, protons and neutrons are composed of further tiny particles known as Quarks, a single quark does not exists separately, so all types of matter are made up of quarks and Leptons, electron is a lepton.
