The Digital Living Network Alliance (DLNA) involves data sharing service (media files). It uses a Wi-Fi connection network.
DLNA allows you to share to smart tvs or other phones
A DLNA server stands for the Digital Living Network Alliance, which is a non-profit collaborative trade organization established by Sony in 2003. These guidelines define the sharing of digital media between multimedia devices.
DLNA is an innovative new technology which enables its consumers to easily share digital technology anywhere in the home. DLNA Technology constructs what it calls the "Digital Home" by weaving and connecting various networks within consumer electronics, PC and mobile devices forming an interoperability.
Try using Camera On TV, but your DLNA TV should support MKV Natively (Most LG, Samsung...) https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=rsc.cameraontv
Indeed it could be enabled with DLNA application. You can install ArkMC application on your iPhone - and it would be DLNA enabled. https://itunes.apple.com/us/app/arkmc/id405487397
You need a DLNA server, which is software that is running on your PC and a DLNA client which will show content sent by the server. For a good Windows server, check out Mezzmo (http://www.mezzmo.com)

Digital Living Network Alliance
DLNA is an open standard for inter-operability of domestic equipment. Most smart televisions will be fully compliant with the stadards.
A LAN is a Local Area Network, it usually a physical network, either made up of wires (cat5/fiber optics/rg6) or wireless (802.11a/b/g/n - WEP/WPA/WPA2) devices. Basically it is the actual network between all the devices. DLNA is a protocol that runs over that network (a specific set of instructions or a language that allows the devices to talk to each other). In this case, it allows a media server to talk to media clients. This is most useful for allowing devices like your PS3/XBOX/DVR etc to stream movies from a computer or "server" somewhere else in the house. Programs that allow this include Serviio and TVersity.
There are many operating systems that Asus driver downloads support including but not limited to PC remote control and home entertainment, DLNA media hub, Remote Desktop and PC plus smart devices.
while you cannot hook up a PC directly to the PS3, you can share music, pictures, and videos if you have a DLNA compatible computer or divice. to learn more about DLNA, visit: "http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Digital_Living_Network_Alliance"see related link
