They must be incubated for about the first 48 hours of their life after they hatch. They must be fed frequently during that time period (they eat whenever they want after that). If they are kept inside make sure there are no drafts in their enclosure, if outside leave the caretaking to their mothers. THIS ANSWER WAS MADE FOR CHICKEN CHICKS.
