8000lbs equates to 3629kg
7000KG is the GVW, so you need to figure out what the tare is of the truck, something like 4000lbs or so, so you can tow easily 8000lbs
4 tons
I have a 2004 v8 Silverado 1500 LS , with 5.3 ltr engine, the gvw is about 13000lbs, and truck weighs just under 5000lbs, so with that being said you should be able to tow about 8000lbs max. I usually tow a 25 foot boat which weighs about 7600lbs with trailer, fuel and equip. The truck pulls it without difficulty, but you can feel the pull going uphill.
8000lbs I have a 1988 34ft
8000lbs with the 5.7L V8 according to Edmunds.com
I have the exact truck.. I had to find that answer as well before i bought a new travel trailer. The max tow weight limit is 8000lbs. If your going to tow a trailer long distance up steep inclines forget about it I have a trailer loaded and is about 7000 + pounds and going up inclines is a challenge other than that It will pull on a straight away easy!!
I wouldn't tow it, I would get it on a trailer. The towing information is in the owner's manual.
for a 2000 4wd with the biggest optional v8 about 8000lbs towing capacity (not tong weight)
She needed to devise a solution. He devised a way to tow cars.
the engine itself is 1100-1200lbs, in a truck 7-8000lbs depending on drivetrain
It depends on the size of the trailer (and how many horses it hauls).
