A networking group is a group of business people that get together on a periodic basis. There are specific companies that run networking groups strictly for business networking such as BNI. You join a BNI group that has members (business owners or managers) from all different business - usually no competitors are in the group - there is one plumber and one electrician and one printer and one insurance salesman, etc. The purpose is that you would become a customer of the members in your group and they would become your customers.
