Coronary Thrombosis
Venous thrombosis prevention is a means to prevent blood clots from forming in veins within the body.
Cerebral thrombosis occurs when a blood clot, or thrombus, forms within the brain itself, blocking the flow of blood through the affected vessel.
This is a health condition. It is called peripheral arterial occlusive disease. Meaning A condition in which the arteries of the leg are obstructed.
Petroleum gauze is used as an occlusive dressing to seal lacerations or punctures to the abdominal cavity (aka sucking chest wounds) or the neck.
occlusive means stopped or so much narrowing . non occlusive means smoothly flow ,no hemolysis
Thrombus is a blood clot that forms in a vessel and remains there, which can block the flow of blood in that location depriving tissues of normal blood flow and oxygen. To dissolve these blood clots, a procedure called thrombolysis is used. Thrombolytic drugs are prescribed and generally given in combination with anticoagulant drugs.
DVT means "deep vein thrombosis", which is a fancy saying for a blood clot in the leg. Non occlusive means it's not blocking blood flow, femoral refers to the location. Therefore, it means there's a blood clot in the upper portion of the leg, but it's not completely blocking bloodflow. Hope this helps :)
"Occlusive" is an adjective that refers to the occlusal, which is the chewing surface of molar and pre-molar teeth.
A thrombus in a blood vessel restricts or reduces blood flow. If it's occlusive, it cuts blood flow off completely.
Coronary occlusive artery disease-- Blockage of the arteries that supply blood to the heart; frequently a precursor to a heart attack.
Occlusive arterial disease is found in 15 to 20% of men and women older than age 70.
Acute thrombosis better known as Coronary Thrombosis, is when a blood clot forms inside the a vessel of the heart.
Pulmonary thrombosis is a stationary clot found in the lungs.
Thrombosis is a medical term meaning blood clotting. To reduce your risk of thrombosis, take an aspirin tablet daily.
A thrombosis, most blood clots are stationary.
